Ukie is here to support the trade activities of its members and the wider games community. This includes supporting businesses with market knowledge and access to international markets. International trade shows
Ukie organises UK industry stands at major global games events to encourage international trade and investment opportunities. Many events are supported with grants for companies choosing to exhibit and showcase their games, including Gamescom Cologne and GDC San Francisco. Upcoming trade shows include:

Gamescom is only around the corner, and Ukie as always are managing the UK industry stand.
This year's 700 sqm British Funfair themed stand will be occupied by over 70 wonderful UK Games companies. The Business Area will be open from Tuesday 21st - Thursday 23rd August
The stand is almost at full capacity, with only a couple of tables left. We also have a couple of sponsorship packages on offer, so if you're looking to be a part of the biggest ever UK stand, please get in touch ASAP. Ukie will take care of all aspects of stand management (design, build, furniture, marketing) and will have an experienced team on hand to run the stand and the reception area. Game Developer Conference (GDC) - THIS EVENT HAS HAPPENED

The 2018 UK stand @ GDC was a great success. Ukie will be back with further details for 2019 as soon as we know what's going on. Save the date for next year though, 18th - 22nd March 2019
The UK Industry stand is an integral part of GDC in San Francisco, the leading games trade show for the games sector. The UK stand is at the epicentre of the South Hall expo space - the ONLY place to be at GDC - and a magnet for international publishers, investors and developers.
Our exhibitor packages offer flexible solutions and come complete with marketing support to ensure you are noticed. The Ukie team manage the stand meaning our exhibitors just need to turn up with their meeting schedules and get to work!
July 2018 - Shanghai, China
Ukie will lead a comprehensive trade mission to China Joy, the leading trade show in Asia. The mission includes a scheduled series of 1-2-1 meetings with leading Chinese games companies, visits to local studios, networking dinners and presentation slots at games networkking events.
Ukie organises trade missions to emerging markets in conjunction with DIT. We use DIT staff in post to support networking and market access. Our most recent missions were China Joy in Shanghai and G Star in Korea.

Be Creative! Pitch to Win
Calling London creative companies and sole-traders! We want to help you find international buyers. Tell us how you would use up to £500 to secure a sale from overseas, and you could be on your way to your chosen tradeshow, event, or meeting with help from Department for International Trade (DIT).
If you are considering exporting as the next great step for your company, or have already traded overseas but not substantially, DIT London Region’s Be Creative! Pitch to Win workshops are the perfect starting point. This series of bespoke sales workshops will offer you an opportunity to learn how to present your business and close a sale. You will also be offered one of 50 grants of up to £500, which you can use to win business in various ways, e.g. exhibiting at an overseas tradeshow; visit to a country for a prospecting activity or contract closing; attending events, etc.
The first Be Creative! Pitch to Win workshops will be held on 14 September July, so hurry up and register. All sessions will take place in Central London.
The GREAT Britain campaign is a government funded multimillion pound international marketing campaign which showcases the very best of what Britain has to offer in creative industries. It is designed to encourage people to do business in the UK. We look after the games images which are featured as part of the campaign.
