What's on at the Ukie Careers Bar at EGX 2015

The Ukie Careers Bar is returning to EGX on September 24-27th as part of the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair. We have some brilliant speakers from all areas of the games industry, here to give practical advice to anyone who wants a career in games.

Ukie is here to ensure that the UK is the world leading destination for people to make and sell games. The best way to do this is provide support for the next generation of creative talent looking to enter this exciting and innovative sector. The Careers Bar is here to do just that; at EGX, our dedicated team of Video Game Ambassadors will deliver expert advice about careers in games including programming, marketing and business development, as well as talks covering community management, art and design, PR and more.

VGAs will be on hand at the Careers Bar throughout the expo to provide one-to-one advice on their own experiences in the industry, career histories and to give guidance on study choices and career paths. Visitors are encouraged to bring their CVs and portfolios as personalised job application advice will be available. All talks and careers sessions are run on a walk-in basis and are open to all looking for invaluable and individual advice about how to gain a successful and lasting career in games
