Ukie has partnered with the ICT sales tracking company CONTEXT to conduct an in-depth survey on attitudes and purchase intentions for Virtual Reality devices across gaming and non-gaming consumers in five EU countries, including the UK.
The survey results will be launched at an event entitled “The 101st Object to Shape the History of the World”, taking place at 8am, on Tuesday 5th July at the British Museum, London. CONTEXT’s PC Gaming distribution report will also be previewed.
The VR survey results will be shared with attendees of the event and a summary of the key findings will be made freely available. A more detailed analysis of the full results will also be made available for purchase – as part of our partnership we are pleased to say that a 25% discount will be available for Ukie members.
Other partners in the project include Oculus, AMD, Dell, Exertis, the University of Reading, Attensi and John Lewis and speakers at the event include Nicolas Thibieroz (Game Engineering, AMD) and Dr Andrew Glennerster (Professor of Visual Neuroscience, University of Reading).
Attendance to the event is free, but on and RSVP basis with limited places available. If you would like to attend or are interested in purchasing the report, please contact Sam.
Also, there is an opportunity for a Ukie member to exhibit their VR work at the event. If this is something your company would be interested in, please let Sam know.
