Ukie and open call for speakers ahead of Careers Fair at Rezzed 2017 has once again teamed up with Ukie, which will host the world-class Careers Bar at Rezzed this coming March - and we're looking for experts to speak during the event.

The Ukie Careers Bar will, as always, be the centre of the Careers Fair, a destination where established professionals can scope out their next career move and wannabe developers or games enthusiasts can learn more about securing a place in the industry.

In addition to the Career Fair hosting recruiters, studios and universities seeking promising new talent, the Ukie Careers Bar will offer three days worth of insightful talks and one-to-one careers advice workshops to help you improve the chances of getting that perfect job. Visitors are even encouraged to bring their CVs and work portfolios to gain professional feedback.

We're calling on industry experts to come and share their expert insider knowledge and advice with attendees, either as a speaker or to volunteer and be on hand to give informal one-to-one advice to the Bar's visitors. If you're interested, fill in this form.

Talks can cover all disciplines in the games industry, from the nitty gritty of games development such as programming and design to publishing careers in PR, marketing and community management.

"The Ukie Careers Bar is a unique opportunity for the next generation of games talent to pick the brains of games industry experts about their experiences building a fulfilling career in the sector," says CEO Dr Jo Twist. "The talks provide valuable insight and the one-to-one advice is a huge asset to those just starting out in their career or those considering a career change.

"The Bar has been a huge success in the past few years and so we're delighted to be bringing it back to EGX Rezzed as part of the London Games Festival, sharing the expertise of our network, and inspiring the games stars of the future. We encourage everyone visiting Rezzed over the weekend who might be interested in a job in games to pop by and make the most of the fantastic advice available at the Careers Bar."
