What consumes 2200 Beers, 1400 Hotdogs, a couple thousand bags of candy floss and 20kg of Coffee Beans? The UK games industry on our British Fun Fair themed stand at Gamescom 2018.
This year marked our most successful spell at Gamescom to date; fuelled by mountains of popcorn, candy floss and Yorkshire Tea bags, the industry networked, secured investment and made meaningful connections that will hopefully last into the foreseable future.
We were overwhelmed by the positive responses from the industry who participated in the meetings and drinks. We would like to thank you for making it so enjoyable for our team of students and Ukie staff respectively, not to forget Jagex and ESL for sponsoring the industry drinks that furthered the networking well into the night.
