We are the UK’s leading autism research charity. Our vision is a long, healthy, happy life for autistic people and their families.

British Esports Association

The British Esports Association is a not-for-profit organisation designed to support and promote esports in Britain, with a focus on the grassroots level.

The aim is not to push esports as a sport, or as a rival to traditional sport, but as a credible activity in its own right which can have positive cognitive and other benefits when done in moderation. Esports also promotes teamwork and communication, develops communities and provides jobs. See our careers advice section here.

Cambridge Game Creators

Cambridge Game Creators (CGC) is the most active community of professionals and hobbyists who create, use, or have an interest in computer graphics, visualization, simulations, and games. Creative and technical experts of all disciplines with an interest in interactive graphics, visualization, simulations, games, or virtual worlds come together to share thoughts, network, and above all have fun.

Casual Games Association

Founded in 2005, the Casual Games Association is a professional international trade organization providing educational resources and community support for those involved in creating games for the mass market consumer. Casual games are found on a myriad of platforms including personal computers, video game consoles, mobile phones and handheld devises.

DNA: Digital Out-of-Home Interactive Entertainment Network Association

The DNA is a young, rapidly-growing association of individuals and companies developing social and networked out-of-home entertainment applications, found in amusement and theme parks, retail centers, educational institutions and sports, fitness and leisure facilities.

GamesAid

GamesAid is a UK based video games charity (Registered UK Charity  # 1081706) which acts as an umbrella to support a number of smaller charities who help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.

It is a non-trading body, administered by Trustees who operate on a fixed term basis run by a chairman who is also appointed on a fixed term. As the only fully democratic charity in the games space, members of the games industry propose and vote for the charities of their choice annually.

Innovation Birmingham Campus

Birmingham Science Park Aston was founded in 1982 and as such is the UK’s third oldest science park. Located in its urban location within central Birmingham, it offers 250,0000 sq ft of accommodation over 14 acres.

Birmingham Science Park Aston is wholly owned by Birmingham City Council. To give the Park a new dimension, provide clarity and pave the way for the £35 million Digital Plaza development, from 2013 it is being presented as two campuses; the Science & Technology Campus and the Innovation Birmingham Campus.

Ludus Magnus

Ludus Magnus are a UK registered charity which helps young people develop their skill sets to advance in life. They help those who are disadvantaged (i.e. NEETs, the unemployed), people with communication & literacy needs and disabilities and those who live in deprived areas through ALVIE®, Accelerated Learning Via Interactive Entertainment/Education.

Raspberry Pi Foundation

The idea behind a tiny and affordable computer for kids came in 2006, when Eben Upton, Rob Mullins, Jack Lang and Alan Mycroft, based at the University of Cambridge’s Computer Laboratory, became concerned about the year-on-year decline in the numbers and skills levels of the A Level students applying to read Computer Science. From a situation in the 1990s where most of the kids applying were coming to interview as experienced hobbyist programmers, the landscape in the 2000s was very different; a typical applicant might only have done a little web design.

Our mission is to enable anyone, whatever their physical disability, to enjoy video games and leisure technology.

But we’re not just doing it for the sake of fun. By giving people the means to participate, we’re kick-starting rehabilitation, self-esteem and, most importantly, inclusion.

The Diana Award

The Diana Award is a charity legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world.

We are proud to have the enthusiastic support of HRH Prince William and HRH Prince Harry and their team at the Royal Charities Forum of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

Our mission is to foster, develop and inspire positive change in the lives of young people.

Warchild

Warchild are directly transforming the lives of tens of thousands of children - and are campaigning to improve the lives of millions more. The charity are working closely with the UK games sector already with projects including the creation of a digital PC game pack. A free membership of Ukie would allow them to engage closer with the UK industry.

Wired Sussex

2557 companies and freelancers are Wired Sussex Members and we work with them to support the development of a successful regional digital cluster. Based in Brighton, we deliver a wide range of services, initiatives and networks designed to assist our Members both individually and collectively.

Women in Games

Women in Games is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2009. It provides encouragement, support and advocacy for women and girls throughout the game industries and educational pipeline, both nationally and internationally.

Our mission at Women in Games is to achieve full equality of opportunity and treatment for all women working, or wanting to work, in the games and eSports industries. Raising awareness and implementing initiatives that change attitudes, deliver impact and create the conditions for all women in our sector to thrive and achieve their full potential.
