I’ve spent a lot of time wondering what kinds of games I want to make. I’ve come up with three words that I think sum it up, in a kind of airy-fairy, arty-farty, nebulous, ‘feely’ way.

Splash Damage

Based in London, England, Splash Damage® Ltd is an independently-owned developer dedicated to AAA multiplayer experiences. The studio most recently completed Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Splash Damage is best known for developing the popular Enemy Territory franchise for id Software, including the world’s first free-to-play shooter Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory® and its PC sequel, the UK and US #1 hit Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars®.

Splendy

Splendy Games are a UK indie games developer producing ground-breaking narrative-led video games with the emotional power of film. Their first game The Bunker is an award-winning psychological horror available now for PS4, XboxOne, PC/MAC and soon for mobile.

Sports Interactive

Sports Interactive are the world’s leading developer of football management simulations through its Football Manager series of games. Brothers Paul & Oliver Collyer MBE’s released their first management game in 1992 before founding Sports Interactive in 1994. Based in the Old Street area of London, there are now more than 70 full time people in the team.

The SI team is expanded by more than 1,000 researchers across the world whose research makes up the world largest football database, as well as a contracted QA team on-site, and over 100 offsite beta testers.

St Helens College

We are one of the largest further and higher education providers in the Northwest, with a proven track record of providing quality education since 1896.

St Helens College caters for students of all ages, studying at all levels. We provide courses and training to around 8,000 students across two main sites, the Town Centre Campus and the STEM Centre, Technology Campus.

State of Play Games

State of Play creates lovingly crafted games & animations.

Established in 2008, State of Play’s work has won a number of international awards.

Headed by Luke Whittaker, who mostly does the art, design and animation, co-founder Katherine Bidwell, and developer/technical genius Daniel Fountain, we’re a small team who love what we do. When possible we work with people from all over the creative industries.

Steel Media

Founded by journalists with a focus on quality editorial, Steel Media is the publishing company behind PocketGamer.co.uk, PocketGamer.biz, Quality Index, AppSpy and more. We also product customer magazines in partnership with a variety of blue chip companies, supply editorial content for syndication, and have the most dextrous thumbs this side of the orangutan infested jungles of South East Asia.

Stick Sports

Stick Sports Ltd is an independent games developer and publisher, producing online and mobile sports games.

From our offices in London and Sydney we design and build sports games for sports fans.

Our first game – Stick Cricket – originally launched in 2004 was designed to be easy to pick up yet fiendishly difficult to master.

Combining simplistic graphics and fast gameplay Stick Cricket has gone on to record over 1 billion plays from 100 million players to become a classic.

Storienteer is a powerful way to create and share mixed reality content. We want to see the world layered with adventure and magic, and we’re providing a platform where you can do just that.

Location-based
Use geolocation and other map-based data, like terrain type and proximity.
