Ukie turns 30 this September, and to celebrate we'll be holding our first ever Members Day on Wednesday 4th September at the Barbican Centre in central London
We will be bringing together all of our valued members to enjoy a fun, business focused series of activities. These will provide insight, support our members, and give you the chance to shape future Ukie projects. Pick and choose which portions you’d like to attend – or come along to them all.
Ukie travelled to Brighton last Friday to join Caroline Lucas MP as she visited Unity Technologies.
The visit highlighted Brighton’s place as a bustling cluster for games development and provided an opportunity for Caroline to meet some of the fantastic talent working there. Home to nearly 80 games companies, Brighton is a major games development hub and hosts international organisations to small, vibrant start ups.
Join us at UK Best Selling Game Awards on the 11th April, where we'll be celebrating and commemorating the best selling physical games in the UK over the past thirty years!
We will be handing out some lovely disc awards to international publishers who have released video games that have sold over a million copies on a single platform, as well a handing out awards to UK developers who have sold over 600,000 copies of a single game too.
The annual Ukie Hub Crawl is back again this year - with the theme ‘Getting Investment Ready’!
(See bottom of page for dates and registration links)
Not sure what the Hub Crawl is? The Hub Crawl is a series of free events organised by Ukie that will occur all around the UK, from Brighton to Glasgow, which bring together games businesses to hear and share the latest thinking on business growth.
This year’s Hub Crawl will focus on helping games businesses get investment ready.
