We will be handing out some lovely disc awards to international publishers who have released video games that have sold over a million copies on a single platform, as well a handing out awards to UK developers who have sold over 600,000 copies of a single game too.

Ukie is bringing our annual Student Conferences to Staffordshire University on the 24th of October and Abertay University on the 31st of October. Our fourth Ukie Student Conferences will each entail a full day of inspiring talks and exclusive workshops for over 400 students from our Ukie Student membership.
Back by popular demand, Ukie’s annual Student Conference returns. This years conferences will be held at Staffordshire University and Abertay University.
The Ukie Student Game Jam is back for its fifth year! Teams of Ukie Students from institutions all across the UK will be competing for victory on 22nd and 23rd October by creating the best game in a 30 hour period. There will be multiple prizes with the ultimate accolade of Ukie Student Game Jam Award winner 2018 being announced following a review by industry judges.
Ukie trade missions provide an excellent opportunity for British video game developers to explore international business opportunities. As a delegate, those members that accompany Ukie are introduced to key Chinese investors and publishers. The UK mission businesses will each deliver presentations, as well as take part in 1-2-1 meetings between UK and international businesses, hoping to encourage investment.
