Everyone Can help disabled people through the power of technology. Through training and assistive technology, they help disabled people speak, control their environment, gain independence and have fun! They carry out assessments to see how a person’s disability is holding them back & find technology that can help them achieve their goals. Over the past 5 years they have also provided gaming sessions for disabled children at their very own Technology & Gaming centre in Manchester. They now on average have around 5 gaming sessions a week for disabled children; with 150 inch screens for multiplayer games, a driving rig, 2 virtual reality stations and 4 assistive gaming stations for children who are unable to use a regular controller. Their sessions are not only for children with physical disabilities but also for children who have learning disabilities, autism, Asperger’s etc. It’s all about getting children gaming together, gaining confidence and making friends!
