Warwickshire College is one of the largest general further and higher education colleges in the UK, providing high quality education and training for individuals and organisations at a local, regional, national and international level. The college has six centres in Leamington, Warwick, Rugby, Moreton Morrell, Henley-in-Arden and Pershore in Worcestershire.
The college operates by its core values which are to:
- Put the student first
We believe that our students should enjoy, achieve and benefit from their experience of Warwickshire College, and that recognising their success leads to the success of our college.
- Deliver the highest quality in all that we do
We believe that all staff should be focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning, and the student experience.
- Promote a fair, open and respectful culture
We should respect the rights and beliefs of each other, regardless of gender, marital status, age, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or position within the organisation.
Warwickshire College is progressive college with economic well being and educational excellence at the heart of its activities.
The college currently has over 18500 students, with nearly 4500 full-time students and around 1000 students on higher education courses.
In 2011, the college began its journey towards becoming an entrepreneurial college. This initiative aims to ensure the development of enterprising, entrepreneurial and innovative skills and behaviours in our students, making these central to each student’s college experience. The entrepreneurial college concept was developed in response to the government’s plans to link college plans and policies to the economic growth and recovery agenda.
