Jamchester

20 May 2016 to 22 May 2016

The UK’s Biggest Competitive Game Jam, Jamchester, is a weekend-long video game creation competition in the heart of Manchester.

This is the first major UK Game Jam aimed at videogame professionals, who will compete in teams onsite to create the best games in a weekend. Teams from major companies and indie devs will compete on a level playing field with the jam’s theme only revealed at the start of the competition. We will also have a limited number of student teams to give them the opportunity to mix with industry professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to network with other developers, learn new skills and have fun! Think of it as a chance to recharge your creative batteries in a friendly environment.

Teams will be 1 to 4 people. The event is open to pre-existing teams of friends, indie devs, students and we encourage individuals to sign up and join/create new teams themselves.
