On March 10th, against the backdrop of Women’s History and Heritage month, Women in Games is proud to present our first Global Careers Expo and Networking Event. As with every Women in Games event, our ambition is to achieve an inclusive, welcoming, safe environment for all.

Like a well-made game, working towards a fulfilling career is full of challenge, can be a roller-coaster, and is definitely the product of collaboration! To that end, we will bring our diverse, inclusive community together to network informally with global games companies, and explore the huge potential that a career in games can offer.

Visit our Expo booths, where our industry partners will be providing information and guidance about their companies and opportunities - they’re a great way to meet studios and businesses in an informal and welcoming environment.  You can also network by messaging other attendees - arrange to meet up using the connectivity of the platform.

At a time when we all miss meeting and talking, discussing aspirations and enthusiasms, the Expo will provide a supportive and positive place to approach and explore the world of work together.

Award-winning speakers from a diverse range of industry sectors will share their insights and their professional stories in sessions; learning labs will explore ways of identifying strengths, how to present in a digital environment, and how to craft CVs, while ‘in conversation’ sessions will enable women to discuss their views and exchange ideas on the evolving world of skills, how to identify strengths and create choices.

Our continuing thanks go to our headline partners 2K/Hangar 13, for their invaluable support – we are achieving great things together.

We also thank Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency for their continued support of our efforts to work for gender equality in the games sector.
