What's on the Ukie Careers Bar @ EGX 2016?

The Ukie Careers Bar will be back at EGX from 22-25 September as part of the GamesIndustry.biz Careers Fair.

If you want to work in the games industry, make sure you visit the Ukie Careers Bar at this year's EGX expo in September. We're pleased to announce a fantastic schedule for the Careers Bar in 2016, with more speakers and drop-in sessions than ever before at EGX.

We have two brilliant keynote talks every day, and over 45 fantastic volunteers from our Video Games Ambassadors network, across all disciplines in the games industry, who will be at EGX for the whole expo, ready to give out personalised advice to anyone who is looking to build a successful career in the games industry. Talks will be given about setting up a studio; careers in eSports; how to get a job in games publishing; marketing, PR and community management; as well as art, games journalism and more.

VGAs will also be on hand at the Careers Bar throughout the expo to provide one-to-one advice on their own experiences in the industry, career histories and to provide guidance on study choices and career paths. Visitors are also encouraged to bring along their CVs and portfolios as personalised job application advice will be available.

All talks and careers sessions are run on a walk-in basis and are open to all looking for invaluable, individual advice about how to gain a successful and lasting career in games.

If you're at EGX, make sure you give yourself the best chance at building a successful career in the games sector by talking to peope already at the top of their game in the industry.
