Ukie Student Game Jam Winners Collect Their Trophies

Ukie congratulated 'A Loaded Teaspoon' from Brunel University for winning the third annual Ukie Student Game Jam 2016 by presenting them with their trophies today.

The team won the prestigious Ukie Student Game Jam trophy, as well as the award for the most accessible game.

This year's game jam was sponsored by Square Enix Collective and Games London and ran from the 4th - 5th April. 20 teams from Ukie's student membership competed against each other to create a winning game in 36 hours, using the theme 'utopia'.

'Lost In Babel' was created by Joseph Juson, Oscar Barbosa, Ioana-Iulia Cazacu, Milly Gunn, Aimee White and Chee Yen Wang from Brunel University.

Second place was awarded to the University of Chester, and the 'Mentor of the Universe' trophy was awarded to Mike Barwise, of Marmalade, for his excellent mentoring of a team from University of East London.
