This September Ukie will be holding our first ever Members Day on Wednesday 4th September at the Barbican Centre in central London.
Members Day
We will be bringing together all of our valued members to enjoy a fun, business focused series of activities. These will provide insight, support our members, and give you the chance to shape future Ukie projects. Pick and choose which portions you’d like to attend – or come along to them all.
The schedule (subject to change) is currently –
Morning (from 10 am)
- Introduction and welcome from Jo Twist, Ukie CEO
- Keynote from Jurgen Post, Head of Tencent Europe
- Ukie Annual General Meeting 2019, including announcing the new Ukie Board of Directors
Afternoon (from 12:00pm)
The afternoon will include various sessions and activities that you can drop in and out of. Free lunch and drinks will be provided.
- Multiple sub-group sessions on key industry topics; a chance to engage with other members and help to shape Ukie work
- Launch of new service, Dev:Pub – an expo for developers to showcase their games to publishers / investors
- An expo space for members to highlight their products and services to other members

The Members Day is free to attend for all Ukie members and their staff, with drinks and lunch provided. We encourage you to bring several key staff along in order for you to benefit the most from the day.

Gala Dinner & Awards
In the evening of the Members Day, we have an exciting but limited opportunity for members and non-members to be a part of a special night. This exclusive, ticket-only event, includes a 3-course meal, drinks, attendance at the awards and is limited to 200 attendees.
The awards will recognise six individuals who have made a transformative or vital contribution to our sector across six categories.
Nominations have opened for the 30 Years of Play Industry Champion awards and we’re inviting you to submit your suggestions from the last thirty years of our sector.

Ukie 30th Birthday Party
This September Ukie turns 30 and to commemorate this fantastic occasion - we are holding birthday party at the Barbican’s metropolitan oasis: the Indoor Gardens and we're inviting the industry to join us.
We welcomes anyone from this great industry, not just Ukie members. You’ll be surrounded by great company and will be able to bid on our fun charity auction alongside a whole range of activities that will run into the night!
So we encourage you to come and join us, raise a glass (or two) at our free bar, to kick back and enjoy the night
