Ukie Student Game Jam: Mentors Needed!

The Ukie Student Game Jam is back for its sixth year!  Last years Game Jam was our biggest yet with over 260 students taking part across 55 teams.

Teams of Ukie Students from institutions all across the UK will be competing for victory on 5th & 6th November by creating the best game in a 30 hour period. There will be multiple prizes with the ultimate accolade of Ukie Student Game Jam Award winner 2019 being announced following a review by industry judges.

We are looking for a diverse array of mentors from the games industry to support the student teams during the competition by giving advice, guidance, tips and answering questions. This is a great chance to work with the next generation of games industry professionals.

By registering, you will be available to support the students through the competition, if you are unable to be present at the institute or unable to be there for the duration of the event, you can communicate via Skype, mobile or email.

Once all teams have confirmed, we will pair you up with a Student Institute and introduce you to the course leader who will then provide the contact details of your team.

A separate judging panel will confirm the student winners and the students will help us  determine who gets the ‘Mentor of the Universe’ trophy.

To become a mentor, or for further information, please contact Kirstie or fill in a form below.
