Ukie Student Conference London: Call for speakers

After two successful Ukie student conferences back in October, Ukie are holding another student conference in London during the London Games Festival on the 2nd of April.

The conference will feature a day of inspiring talks and CV workshop for over 200 students on the Ukie’s Student Membership programme. As always, Ukie is calling for a small army of diverse games industry volunteers, whatever job and level they are in, to help make it happen.

If you're in the games industry, Ukie invites you to submit a short proposal for a talk or an interactive workshop that you would like to run to inspire and inform the next generation of games talent. Ukie is looking for diverse and interesting stories and content, to give students as wide a perspective as possible of what it’s like working in games and how successful careers can built.

To submit a talk please complete this form

The last two Ukie Student Conferences held at Staffordshire University & Abertay University reached over 500 students. Students and lecturers gather to hear talks from professionals in the industry, covering creative game design, emerging business models, PR and player strategy, as well as individuals sharing their experiences working in the UK games sector.

You can check out some the previous talks from Ukie’s Student Conferences here to see what you're getting yourself in for!

There are limited slots available so please complete and submit the form before the deadline on Friday 8 March.

We are also looking for sponsors and those who are interested in getting involved with upcoming Ukie student activities. If this sounds like something you’d like to be involved with, please get in touch with Leon. These events provide a great opportunity to interact with future industry talent.
