Develop:Brighton - Ukie's big plans for the three-day games development conference

This year Develop:Brighton is back in person, with a packed roster of events, talks and networking opportunities running from Tuesday 26th October to Thursday 28th October - and Team Ukie have plenty of activities planned.

On Tuesday morning, our Head of Communications and Campaigns George Osborn will be interviewing Ukie board member Debbie Beswick MBE of Team17. This insightful fireside chat, "The Spirit of Independence: Challenges and Inspiration from Three Decades at the Top" will take place at 9:45 am in Room 2.

Heading into Tuesday afternoon, #RaiseTheGame are teaming up with Sophie Clark of Jagex for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) roundtable "Raise Your Game: How to Make Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Central to Your Games Business." Catch this at 3:00 pm in Room 6.

Then our very own CEO, Dr Jo Twist OBE will be speaking on Wednesday morning at 11:00 am. In an informative talk entitled "What's Next for the UK Games Industry?", she'll discuss how the industry negotiated the Covid crisis, where the industry is today and what needs to happen for it to keep growing strong.

Round off Wednesday by heading to the #RaiseTheGame Festival of Food Evening - a night of diverse foods from different cultures, music and socialising with individuals from the #RaiseTheGame community. You can register for free tickets here.
