Innovate UK have announced that they will be working with Ukie to recruit assessors from the industry to help better inform their funding.
Innovate cited the UK's status as a world leading games industry based on its early adoption of video games, seamless introduction of affordable consoles and handhelds, AI innovation and integration of games technology into other industries like manufacture, healthcare.
The recruited assessors will be rolled out to Innovate UK’s programmes, wherever there is a relevant technology, methodology or business models being used.
