Future Games of London

The App Store arrived in July 2008. At the time we thought this would revolutionise how people accessed and played games. We immediately started work to prepare the foundations for what became Future Games of London. The company was formed in 2009 with the exclusive plan to build games for this new smart phone era. We wanted to publish innovative, original and mass market content to what we could see would become an ever-increasing global audience.

We could never have imagined how big the market could become. The industry is now expecting 1 billion smart phones by 2015!?

GameFace Labs

With driver support for market leading VR and AR headsets, CORE will allow users to plug their existing hardware into a single device and supports both mobile use (when plugged into a headset), as well as set top box mode when plugged into a display.

Gamer Network

Gamer Network was founded in 1999 by brothers Rupert and Nick Loman.

Prior to founding the company, the brothers played a lot of network and online games like Duke Nukem 3D and Quake II, and their love for competitive multiplayer video games led them to organise their own events.

After realising they were better at organising than competing, they decided to create an online games business together with friends from the gaming community. Several years after that (paying the bills by designing websites and game middleware) they decided to focus purely on games media.

Games Britannia

Games Britannia is a schools videogame festival aimed at inspiring the next generation of British videogame talent.

The festival is aimed at young people aged between 11 and 18, and a smaller number of children aged from 5 to 11. Through a range of exciting, engaging and educational workshops, lectures and activities we hope to inspire and empower children to become to game designers, coders, musicians and artists of the future.

It is a non-trading body, administered by Trustees who operate on a fixed term basis run by a chairman who is also appointed on a fixed term. As the only fully democratic charity in the games space, members of the games industry propose and vote for the charities of their choice annually.
