British Esports Association

The British Esports Association is a not-for-profit organisation designed to support and promote esports in Britain, with a focus on the grassroots level.

The aim is not to push esports as a sport, or as a rival to traditional sport, but as a credible activity in its own right which can have positive cognitive and other benefits when done in moderation. Cambridge Game Creators (CGC) is the most active community of professionals and hobbyists who create, use, or have an interest in computer graphics, visualization, simulations, and games. Creative and technical experts of all disciplines with an interest in interactive graphics, visualization, simulations, games, or virtual worlds come together to share thoughts, network, and above all have fun.

Casual Games Association

Founded in 2005, the Casual Games Association is a professional international trade organization providing educational resources and community support for those involved in creating games for the mass market consumer. Casual games are found on a myriad of platforms including personal computers, video game consoles, mobile phones and handheld devises.

Everyone Can

Everyone Can help disabled people through the power of technology. Through training and assistive technology, they help disabled people speak, control their environment, gain independence and have fun! They carry out assessments to see how a person’s disability is holding them back & find technology that can help them achieve their goals. Over the past 5 years they have also provided gaming sessions for disabled children at their very own Technology & Gaming centre in Manchester.

GamesAid

GamesAid is a UK based video games charity (Registered UK Charity  # 1081706) which acts as an umbrella to support a number of smaller charities who help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.

It is a non-trading body, administered by Trustees who operate on a fixed term basis run by a chairman who is also appointed on a fixed term. As the only fully democratic charity in the games space, members of the games industry propose and vote for the charities of their choice annually.

Innovation Birmingham Campus
