Bitmap Bureau

We are an independent game development studio founded in 2016 with a focus on developing titles for genuine retro hardware such as the Sega Mega Drive and Neo Geo. We also bring our titles to all modern platforms such as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We released our first Mega Drive title, “Xeno Crisis”, in October 2019 following a successful Kickstarter campaign and are keen to work with more talented artists and musicians over the coming years as we aim to create increasingly ambitious titles that push old hardware to their limits.

Blazing Griffin a BAFTA-winning Glasgow-based digital entertainment company, specialising in telling stories across a wide range of platforms and mediums with a specific focus on the development and production of video game development, film and TV and post production services.

Born Ready Games

We are Born Ready; a heady mix of experience, ambition, talent and passion. Our aim is to look at the breadth of games across all formats with the intention of finding the one game we feel is missing the most. And then make it. That process is an exciting blur of code, pixels and doughnuts (fast becoming a sugary mascot for the studio), making work almost as fun as play.

Brightrock Games

Brightrock Games is an independent videogame studio based in Brighton, UK, with a core team of eight people from around the world. Our goal is to create genre-twisting simulation games in which players can experience their own stories. And if we can do it with a quirkily British sense of humour, then all the better!

Community is a huge part of what we do, and we pride ourselves on maintaining utmost transparency with our players. We’re like glass. No, water. Air?

Bungie is an independent, employee-owned game development studio dedicated to creating hopeful worlds that inspire passionate player communities and lifelong friendships. For almost three decades, that purpose has led to the creation of some of the most celebrated video game franchises, including Marathon, Myth, Halo, and Destiny. Today, Bungie is focused on developing the future of the Destiny universe and new worlds to come.

Our founding team, led by Chris Kempt, have years of experience in developing creative, original and highly successful games for digital platforms. Collectively we have over 120 games under our belt. 

Established in 2015, we're working on disruptive products with some of the finest partners in the UK games industry and media corporations across the Atlantic.

Cambridge Regional College

UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology (Games Development)

Level 3 Games Development at Cambridge Regional College firmly places students on their first steps into the games industry. Learners will gain experience with multiple tools, software and processes in order to learn how to design, develop and publish their very own games.

Canterbury Christ Church University

The School of Media, Art and Design at Canterbury Christ Church University is one of the longest-established schools of its kind in the UK and is celebrating its 38th anniversary this year. We offer undergraduate programmes in games design, television, radio, film, digital media, graphic design, photography, journalism, media and communication and public relations; an MA by Research; and PhD research supervision in Media and Cultural Studies and Film Studies. Our programmes integrate theory with practice and creativity with professionalism.
