Why you should vote in the Ukie board election
The Ukie board plays a crucial role in the organisation and the wider industry. It helps set our strategic direction, provides essential advice on the key issues facing the sector and ensures our members have their voice heard as effectively as possible.
Ukie has released a landmark study on how esports is transforming careers education.
The study, Esports: Engaging Education, is the first of its kind to formally look at the positive impact of the esports industry on students and education.
Other key announcements at the AGM included the new addition to the board, Des Gayle, and the annoucement of our 30 Years of Play campaign, celebrating Ukie’s 30th birthday.

Below is also a piece from DCMS with Ed Vaizey, Minister of State for Culture and Digital Economy at EGX.

Announcing our new 2015 Board and two new initiatives for the UK games sector
We used our AGM last Thursday at EGX to announce our new Board members and two new initiatives for the UK games sector - The Games Industry Cluster Map project and the Digital Schoolhouse project.
Nominations for Ukie Board elections now open
Today the nominations open for Ukie Board elections. Being on the Board of Ukie is very fulfilling - I promise you. We want as much diversity as possible on the Board and people who want to give back to the industry and make a difference. If you don't believe me, hear from our very own Chair Andy Payne.
