It is the first day of its kind, and will see games industry leaders enter the palace of Westminster to meet, educate and lobby MPs and Peers towards the needs of the UK games industry.
Ukie welcomes new government and plans for new Parliament
Today Ukie welcomed the new Conservative government and set out our plans to work with new MPs and ministers to make the UK the best place in the world to make and sell games.
Ukie CEO Dr Jo Twist said:
Chris White MP hears from UK games industry at APPG
As the MP for Warwick and Leamington, I have had the opportunity to visit many of the incredible video games companies located in my constituency, and have been inspired by the creativity and passion in this sector. Companies such as Radiant Worlds and Free Style Games and those involved in the co-working space at Arch Creatives have all demonstrated why this industry offers so much potential to create growth and skilled jobs in our region and nationally.
