After a seasonal quiet period for new releases, the All Formats Chart finds itself with 4 new titles at the top. ‘Astral Chain’ debuts at No1 ahead of ‘Wreckfest’ at No2, ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan’ at No3 and ‘Control’ at No4. Only around 1,500 sales separate No1 from No4. Elsewhere ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’ swings back in to the Top 10 at No8 thanks to a price drop, while ‘Collection of Mana’ arrives at No22 making it 5 new Top 40 games this week.

The top six of the all formats chart will seem quite familiar this week. Racing to the top spot we have 'Mario Kart 8 Deluxe'. In second we have 'Super Mario Maker 2' that's maintained this position for 3 weeks running now. Finally in third place is ‘Crash Team Racing – Nitro Fueled’ which has droped from first to third. Mortal Kombat 11 has seen a large rise in sales, jumping from 40th to 4th. This could be due to new bundle deals featuring the game. The only new addition to the all formats chart include 'YU-GI-OG! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution' fighting its way to 10th.

In second we have ‘Super Mario Maker 2’, closely followed by ‘Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’ which narrowly beat ‘Fifa 19’. In 5th we the steady return of ‘Grand Theft Auto V’. Unfortunately, there are no new titles to be entered into the all formats chart this week.

‘Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ just manages to hold on to top spot in its second week, despite strong competition from ‘FIFA 19’ which climbs three places to No2. Buoyed by the imminent new football season and a retailer price promotion, it is FIFA 19’s highest position since week 25. There is also a debut at No5 for another EA sporting franchise, ‘Madden NFL 20’.
