Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, BA (hons) Games Design & Art

Combine the creative side of games design with essential technical knowledge. If you want to make unique new games and take your ambitious ideas into emerging games markets, platforms and spaces, this is the programme for you. You’ll cover design, illustration, character creation, animation and storytelling, as well as coding and digital production.

You’ll work in your own studios on the Winchester campus as part of a vibrant, creative environment designed to mirror the collaborative practices of games companies and the creative industries.

ACM is a specialist provider of creative industries education. Performers, producers, songwriters, artists, technical services personnel, business executives, entrepreneurs and games developers are taught across 3 campuses in Guildford, London and Birmingham. 

Fife College

Fife College is a Scottish college offering further and higher education courses, located in Fife, Scotland. We have campuses in several locations across Fife, but our games courses are delivered primarily in Glenrothes and Dunfermline. In the games sector, we offer general introductory courses at the further education level, as well as focused courses in game programming, design, and 3D animation, at the higher education level.

The UCL School of Management, part of University College London, is about creating disruptive research and entrepreneurial leaders for the complex, interconnected world of the future.

Research conducted at the UCL School of Management has a primary focus on innovation, technology management, analytics, and entrepreneurship.

Sunderland College

Our Extended Diploma in Games, Animation and VFX was one of the
original 4 courses set up in partnership with NextGen Skills Academy and
AIM Awards. The course was designed under the guidance of an
employer steering group, with representation from some of the biggest
games, animation and VFX companies in the UK. Students spend their
first year learning the fundamentals of game design, programming, maths,
3D modelling, VFX production, animation and traditional 2D artwork. The
