Made in the UK campaign

Our Made in the UK campaign celebrates the UK video games and interactive entertainment industry – the people who create it, the businesses that build it, and the games that define it.

What is Made in the UK?

The Made in the UK campaign is Ukie’s initiative to celebrate the breadth and diversity of the British games industry – from indie developers and emerging studios to globally recognised AAA creators. We’re showcasing the people, stories and places that define UK games and sheer richness and imagination of the worlds they build and stories they tell.

Our goals are to:

  • To raise visibility for UK games and studios
  • Celebrate key achievements and milestones
  • Change the perspective of the industry amongst the public

How we are doing that:

  • Running a coordinated national campaign that brings together studios of all sizes to showcase the UK as a world-leading games nation.
  • Highlighting real stories, impact and innovation from across the sector to strengthen public and political understanding of the industry’s value.
  • Building a visible, evidence-led picture of the UK games ecosystem to support advocacy with Government and policymakers.
  • Working with industry partners to ensure the breadth of UK talent is reflected in national and international media coverage.
  • Equipping studios and creators with ready-to-use campaign tools to help amplify a consistent message about the UK’s global competitiveness.
  • Strengthening engagement with media, stakeholders and decision-makers to reinforce the UK’s position as a hub for investment, creativity and growth.
