Eligibility criteria
There is no cost to nominate an entry for the Ukie Video Game Awards, and the awards are open to all qualifying companies and individuals, regardless of Ukie membership. The awards cover the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, and are specifically for UK games companies and individuals working within UK-based companies. A UK games company can be either an independent UK organization or a UK company wholly or partly owned by another UK or non-UK entity. While many games are created through collaborations across borders, the awards are only for games where a UK company is the lead delivery partner, responsible for the majority of the work. Anyone can nominate a company or individual (including self-nominations), but only nominations submitted through the official channel will be considered. UK companies and individuals can be nominated for multiple awards, but each nomination must be submitted separately for each category. Additionally, no separate nominations will be accepted for UK Game of the Year, as any game nominated for Best Mobile, PC, Console, or XR Game will automatically be considered for this award.
