Ukie Annual Review 2026

We are proud to share our Annual Review 2026, marking the second full year of Supercharged, Ukie’s five-year plan to support, champion and grow the UK’s world-leading games and interactive entertainment industry.

This year we have moved from laying new foundations to building on them. Together with our members, partners and supporters, Ukie has:

• Secured major policy wins, including the Government’s £30m Games Growth Package, the largest ever grant to the UK games industry, and dedicated SIC codes that mean games development and publishing are officially counted for the first time.
• Grown our membership to a record 710 companies and delivered 67 business events for over 5,000 attendees.
• Expanded Ukie Worldwide with a new visit to Tokyo Game Show, supporting 275 companies and generating £80 million in business wins.
• Celebrated 10 years of Digital Schoolhouse, reaching 48,130 children in 613 schools, and strengthened Raise the Game with a new group of 12 Strategic Partners.
• Showcased our record-breaking £8.76 billion industry to Parliament and the public, engaging 43 MPs, Peers and Parliamentary assistants through Westminster Games Week and reaching 430,000 viewers with our brand-new UK games showcase, For One Night Only.

Looking ahead, year three of Supercharged will see Ukie accelerate its work, stepping up to represent the whole of the video games and interactive entertainment ecosystem.
