Role titles: Business Programme Manager

Pay: £30k - £38k per annum, depending upon experience. PIPs pension, bonus scheme, private medical scheme, and generous leave

Location: We offer a mixture of remote and in the office working at Black Bull Yard, 24-28 Hatton Wall, London, EC1N 8JH. This role includes regular office-based team and member related activities, national and international travel on occasions.

Business Programme Manager - about the role

Ukie runs a series of programmes and initiatives that support the commercial growth of games companies. This includes an award-winning International Trade programme that helps UK businesses reach international markets including the USA, Europe and Asia, and a series of new business scale-up and accelerator programmes that furnish UK games businesses with bespoke guidance to support their internal systems, knowledge and expansion. We also have a range of products, services and events that connect games businesses to potential funding, publishing and other kinds of partners.

The Business Programme Manager role is a new role and will be responsible for managing, promoting and evolving these existing and the new programmes for businesses across the UK, including sourcing the funding required for their delivery and expansion so that member and non-member companies can benefit.

The role will also require planning and executing new programmes, as well as securing the right partnerships where possible to deliver them. This role is within the Commercial and Membership team at Ukie and you will be required to work closely with the wider Ukie team and also key external stakeholders at all levels.

Desired experience and qualities:

·       Ideal for someone with at least 4 years’ experience in a relevant business role

·       A demonstrable track record in establishing and building business relationships

·       We are looking for an individual who is a people person and who is entrepreneurial

·       Experience in working with different teams and an ability to work with different kinds of people all levels of seniority

·       Excellent written, planning and analytical skills

·       Experience in stakeholder and relationship management

·       Knowledge of modern business funding models

·       Excellent listener with outstanding communication skills

Other information:

Working hours are Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.30pm and there is an expectation that some evening and weekend work will be required to attend events as the business requires. Ukie supports remote working, but there is an expectation of regular visits to the office.
