What are Ukie member groups and how do I join?

Member groups are chaired by Ukie members and give games businesses the chance to discuss key issues that they are facing and work together at finding industry-wide solutions. Anyone from a Ukie member business can join a group with many to choose from including communications, mobile, HR, EDI and more. Click here to find out more and how to get involved.

How long do I have to be trading to join Ukie?

You can join Ukie at any stage as long as you have a registered company.

I'm a member with a question, who should I get in touch with?

When joining Ukie you'll be assigned an account manager, either Sam, Helen or if you are an academic member - Sian. They are your first point of call who can answer your question or find someone who can help. If you don't know who your account manager is you can email Sam or Helen.

I'm looking for a work for hire company to help on my project, can Ukie help?

Yes, Ukie has a work for hire database. Get in touch with Helen and we'll send you some potential work for hire studios who are Ukie members who fit your specifications. 

I'm looking for a permenant member for my team, can Ukie help?

No, this is something we cannot do.

What office facilities are available to members and how do I book them?

I have some vacancies in my company, can Ukie promote them?

No, this is something we cannot do.

I have an event coming up/some research/some interesting industry news - can Ukie share it?

Yes! We love to share exciting news and events from our members. We do this via our Thursday newsletter and follow-up social media posts (Twitter and LinkedIn).

I want to get my company partnered with Ukie - is that something we can do?

We enjoy partnering with members over a variety of events and opportunities including Gamescom, Develop, Westminster Games Week, Digital School House initiatives, bespoke research projects and more. I have a discount code I want to share, can this go in the newsletter?

Yes! This can go in our Thursday newsletter or 'The Insider' - a member only newsletter. Please send them and some copies to Helen for event ticket discounts. If you are a partner member and would like to promote a discount or free consultation to your service for fellow Ukie members, please use this form to get it into 'The Insider'. 

How do I meet the Ukie team?

The best way to do this is via a Wednesday 'Meet the Member' session. Please contact us to book yourself in. Various members are also at industry events throughout the year and are present at the end of year festive drinks and AGM.

Which events do Ukie normally attend?

The team attend many industry events throughout the year including PGC London, Gamescom (we run the UK stand), Develop, GDC, EGX and WASD. We also have our own events such as the Hub Crawl around the UK, AGM, festive drinks and Westminster Games Day/Week.
