Join us in-person on Friday 29th November from 10am at Ukie’s offices for a training session on how to address data protection within the gaming industry, presented by Ukie members Charles Russell Speechlys.
This event is designed to empower developers, publishers, and all stakeholders within the gaming sector with the knowledge and tools to navigate and understand their obligations under data protection laws .
The session will cover the following areas in three 45-minute sessions.

- Data Protection Developments Impacting the Gaming Sector: Stay ahead of the curve with insights into the latest legal developments and how they specifically affect the gaming sector. From the Online Safety Act to the implications of new technologies like AI chatbots, we'll provide an overview of key areas to be aware of.
- Practical Tips for Compliance for SMEs: Compliance can be daunting, especially for smaller business with limited resources. This session will provide actionable advice and practical tips to help your organisation implement robust data protection strategies.

He has advised across entertainment and technology. Prior to joining the legal profession, Victor worked as a privacy analyst for a FTSE250 gaming company where he helped roll out processes, policies and training to foster GDPR compliance.
Details: The session will be run in person at Ukie’s offices (18a, Blackbull Yard, 24 - 28 Hatton Wall, London EC1N 8JH) on Friday, 29th November from 10:00-13:00, comprising of 3 x 45 minute parts, with 15m breaks in between each. Teas and coffees will be provided.
Cost: £75 cost per attendee (10% discount available for Ukie members using code: UKIE10) - £60 contribution per ticket sold will be donated to Ruby’s Fund.
