Ukie have partnered with Barclays, to create another opportunity for UK game developers to showcase their unsigned games to potential audiences and investors.
Ukie serves as the trade association for the UK's games and interactive entertainment industry. As a not-for-profit organisation, we represent businesses ranging from micro studios to multinationals, including developers, publishers, and service companies. Our mission is to make the UK the best place to make, sell, and play games.
Barclays has been a supporter of the creative industries since the eighties, assisting businesses in film, music, and video games to thrive. They have a dedicated Games and Creative Industries Team and a bank-wide strategy to ensure they can effectively support the needs of this industry at all levels. Together, we view this Demo Day as a crucial link in creating connections for developers.
The Demo Day will take place in April, where 6-8 successful developers will showcase their unsigned games on a virtual platform. When reviewing applications, we will be seeking unsigned games that demonstrate innovation and originality. It is important to note that all submissions must be appropriate for a general audience, as games containing inappropriate content such as nudity, unnecessary violence, or offensive language will not be considered.
Applications will close on midnight, 21st Feb 2024, with the virtual Demo Day taking place in late April.
Ukie and Barclays look forward to reviewing your applications.
