Ukie is out in Shanghai this week with a mission of UK games businesses visiting ChinaJoy, in an exciting addition to our growing International Trade programme. This is the third time that Ukie have taken games companies on a trade mission to the show, but the first time that Ukie have hosted a UK Industry Stand in the b2b area.
The UK mission includes 30 delegates from 15 of the top UK games businesses:

The delegates have a busy few days, which include visiting leading local studios in Shanghai, as well as meeting with Tencent's new PC digital division, WeGame. Following this there is a packed schedule of networking, press events and opportunities, and access to ChinaJoy's party scene when the business is over for the day.
The UK mission businesses will each present to 160 leading chinese games companies and investors, as well as taking part in over 200 1-2-1 meetings between UK and international businesses, hoping to encourage investment. China has recently showed increasing recognition of the value in funding UK games talent, with Chinese businesses investing in UK giants Jagex, Splash Damage and Outfit7.
We're also really pleased to announce that a publishing deal has been reached between soccarmanager.com and Beijing Crazy Sports Industry Management, who met at last year's Ukie ChinaJoy mission. We hope that this year's delegation will be equally successful for the fantastic companies that have come to Shanghai with us.
