The Ukie Student Conference is returning on Wednesday 26th October with its first in-person event since 2019.
The free-to-attend conference, which helps university and college students learn about career opportunities in games, is taking place at the University of Staffordshire at the end of the month.
The talks, which will also all be streamed online, run from 10am to 5pm with a range of big-name speakers from Epic Games, Codemasters and Rare aiming to inspire the next generation of games industry talent.
There will also be an exhibitor area in addition to the conference schedule that’ll allow attendees to meet representatives from the likes of Playground Games and more to learn about career opportunities within those businesses.
There are still opportunities for the games industry to get involved in the conference and show its support in developing talent within the sector.
There are a handful of speaking spaces available for individuals within the industry willing to share their expertise with conference attendees. Additionally, there are sponsorship opportunities for businesses who want to directly support the event.
For those interested in speaking at the event or sponsoring the event, please contact Siân Mayhall-Purvis at sian@ukie.org.uk.
Students who wish to attend the event can register for a free pass on the conference’s Eventbrite page, which can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/431579605217.
