The UK is on a mission at GDC 2023: Ukie and DIT's activities at the essential game dev conference

Whilst there’s no UK pavilion at GDC this year there will be a raft of targeted opportunities for UK companies to gain exposure and meet potential partners.

With 45 companies registered, this DIT trade mission (supported by Ukie) includes the use of Werqwise, a co-working space close to the Moscone centre, as well as curated meeting opportunities with leading platforms, technology providers and games companies.

Wednesday 22nd March – Investment dinner

Taking place from 7pm at a restaurant close to Moscone, this private dinner brings 20-25 up and coming UK studios and a matching number of investors (publishers, platforms, funds etc) together in an informal and friendly setting for networking and potential collaboration. Thursday 23rd March – Investment breakfast with Welsh Government

Taking place from 8am at the St Regis Marriot hotel next to the Moscone centre, this private breakfast brings 20-25 up-and-coming Welsh games studios and a matching number of investors (publishers, platforms, funds etc) together for networking and potential collaboration. Our annual UK industry drinks party returns to the rooftop B-Bar this year for a fun and lively evening of networking.
