The Ukie international trade programme is continuing to focus on virtual events until we are given permission to travel overseas. Looking ahead we are targeting GDC in March 2022 as our likely first international foray.

Historically we have partnered with MeetToMatch alongside the official event organiser when we manage UK industry stands at physical games events. Their service typically facilitates about 50% of the pre-booked business meetings on the Ukie stand. Since lockdown MeetToMatch have significantly improved their service whilst the official event organisers have struggled to deliver a virtual solution. For instance for gamescom / devcom in 2020 the official app got a satisfaction rating of 15% and MeetToMatch got 85% from UK customers. And at a fraction of the price.
Additionally, Ukie will be organising a free to access series of videos with our Chinese partners during China Joy and also be running the UK Game of the Show and EuroPlay once more during gamescom.
