Each year, Ukie runs a student game jam as part of the student membership programme of activities. This has become a really important event, with 380 students take part in last year’s #raisethegamejam. Check out last year’s brief to get an idea of how the game jam is run.
Ukie is working with Sharkmob to develop this years game jam and will be pairing UK students with other European students.
Teams of Ukie Students from institutions all across the UK will be competing for victory on 23rd & 24th November. by creating the best game in a 30 hour period. There will be multiple prizes and winners will be announced following a review by industry judges.
We are looking for a diverse array of mentors from the games industry to support the student teams during the competition by giving advice, guidance, tips and answering questions. This is a great chance to work with the next generation of games industry professionals.
By registering, you will be available to support the students through the competition via Skype, Zoom, mobile or email.
You will be allocated a team and then choose with the team, times in the day that you are available for them to ask you any questions. You are not expected to be available all of the time.
